Come and try petanqueFamily friendly for all ages and fitness levels, Pétanque is a fun game that can be as competitive or social as you would like it to be.
There are local, state, national and international competitions in the sport, including masters games. Time commitment required is your choice - play as infrequently or often as you like, depending on your needs. Note however that it is addictive! All equipment necessary to play is available from our club. The club play days are every Wednesday of the month, games commence at 13:00 during winter and from 14:00 during summer Also, every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month from 10:00. Some days may be cancelled if the weather is unforgiving, ie due to excessive rain or heat. The play days are used for friendly social competitions There is no commitment to attend every play day as teams are drawn on the day from those that attend. Some members of the club form into teams of doubles or triples to compete in other competitions throughout the year within Victoria or interstate. Check out the coaching videos via the links tabs. |

Location of MMPC Terrain
Location of MMPC terrain is directly behind the Ampol Service Station in Gisborne on the entry to the Botanic Gardens alongside Jacksons Creek.
Parking is available on site or additional parking may be available across the foot bridge near the indoor swimming pool. |
